Anyone else have issues with electrical drainage that could share some insight as to why my 19 caravan has a drain despite their not being any issues with the battery or alternator?

As soon as I turn off the engine the interior light dims and at times the engine acts like it almost wants to stall when slowing to a stop. This also seems to cause the transmission to not shift smoothly in between low gears, especially when the air conditioning or heat is on.

Should also mention that I have on occasion smelled smoldering diode inside the cabin.

Any input would be appreciated to help out with the despair.
