[5th Gen : 08+]: Cant Find 115V plug
Hello ALl,
I just purchased a used 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT with the Premium Plus Package,
I have been searching the van for 2 days for the 115v plug.
I was told on back of passenger seat under trim door.
Well there is no trim door and inverter is not under seat as there are vents there.
The dash climate controls are mostly ***** but below them is the button to turn on the 115V plug..
I have the super console And its not in or on it and i pulled any trim off I couuld find.
I have stowaway seating so i even lifted the floor doors to check there and I can find the plug.
I am told today (not confirmed yet) the inverter in in front passenger outside foot trim that has 2 screws to remove trim.
But after two days of searching off and on I am still inable to see or find the plug.
Does anyone have any idea where the plug is located, please?
Thanks
J'Kar

Hello,
I did download the owners manual.
It says its below instrument panel (but not listed in manual is if super console is installed then its moved).
Then it says behind 2nd row passenger seat on trim Panel, its not there either. I also got build info on van and it is listed for the vin as being installed.
Google says on the plug location and inverter get moved to different spots based on the packages purchased for van.
Thanks

Well I did got out and search again and I am blind It is not behind the front row passenger seat or on passenger side. The plug is behind 2nd row and driver side behind seatbelt.
So all is good now for that anyway.
Van still have one issue and im taking it for a full safety check where I live.
The van make high pitch whine when accelerating when driving.
IT does not make the noise when parked in park or neutral.
If driving and ease off gas the noise goes away.
Thanks
