RE: Manual tranny?
this would be the final determinating factor to keep my van, if i can shove a manual in there with reletive ease, then nothing could take my van away from me, i'll prolly get my next car in a week...in which i don't want, but i have to, i tried PMing this dude, no response, if it can be done, then watchout, i'll go nuts, & then i'll have my 15 second van!!!! I totally belive the gearing is what limits these engines on the track, plus lack of being able to launch it

Greetings everyone...
Actually there is a manual transmission that will fit the 3.3/3.8L. Get the manual transmission from the 01/02/03 Dodge Stratus Sedan with the 2.7L. The 2.7 has the same transmounting as the 3.3 and 3.8. I bought the transmission and the flywheel from a trashed 01 Stratus and am in process of putting it in a 95 GC. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

RE: Manual tranny?
oh i beg to differ, the only thing the 3.8 has over a 3.3, is a little more torque down low, while the peppy 3.3, is just plain more fun to drive
but when i merge the 2, & rebuild my original motor next year, hehe, well, ya'lls will see
BTW upon ALOT of researching & asking questions, the 2.7 5-speed, SHOULD bolt up, which will be great, i don't care if the flywheel & the axles will need to be custom, thats easy, you can't just make a manual for something else work, well not without maybe tons & tons of money into something totally custom
so, on that note, plan to see a manual 3.3 lurking thru here in about 1/2 a year (i hope i hope i hope)
