Let me clarify, sorry if I wasn't clear the first time.

The problem is intermittent. Sometimes the ABS light comes on, sometimes it does not. It all started after replacing a leaking right rear wheel cylinder and the brake pads on both sides.

It feels like the ABS is kicking on, the pedal goes down and then pushes back up with a vibration.

I have bled the fluid, etc. but this has not helped.

Any advice you can offer would be appreciated.

THanks!

my one did that too, the same thing you are descrbing. the brake disck where broken down. they where like a windig road, this happens for example when they are very hot and some watter spils on them and turn cold abruptly. try replacing them

Thanks for the reply- but I have already replaced the rotors, and this pulsation is more like a buzzing when the ABS kicks in.

Default My car doing the same thing.

My Chrysler new yorker is doing the same thing. I didn't do a brake job. When I push on the brake the pedal buzzes and pulsates lightly , even when I'm stopped. It does this intermittently while the pedal is pushed. My mechanic said he thinks it is in the ABS but not sure. It would cost alot to fix. I need some advice as well.

Pull the abs fuses and drive it again. If it stops then at least you know its the abs kicking in. If it stops, then you may have a damaged wheel sensor causing the abs to think a wheel is locking up. Check sensor wiring back where you where working, around the rear wheels.
