Thinking about what you wrote earlier, I would check the timing. The 3.0 engine has a timing belt, and they can jump. Actually, look at your belt and make sure it didn't break. If you have never replaced the belt, go ahead and do it. If you don't have a timing light, get your Chilton's manual and look at the section where it describes replacing your timing belt. Set the #1 cylinder on Top Dead Center (TDC) by rotating the engine until the rotor points to the #1 plug wire on the cap, then check that your timing mark on the flywheel lines up with the pointer. There should also be some timing marks on the camshaft pulley and/or other pulleys that will have to line up. This is where you will need the Chilton manual to give you the specifics for your engine.
You can replace the belt and fix the timing yourself, just give yourself an afternoon to do it. It will probably be tight and you may have to pull quite a few pieces off of the motor and body, but don't worry about it. It should just require basic wrench turning and no special tools to get the job done.

I would suspect the injectors. With out it running, it's pretty hard to DIY clean the injectors.
You mention in the first post that you have spark and fuel. How was this determined? I want to backtrack before pulling and having the injectors cleaned. No sense in spending money on cleaning if it's not the injectors.
Or has this been resolved?

On another forum, which sounds like the same problem, he tapped the injectors with a screwdriver handle and got them to work for a bit. You might try that and see if you can get it running. Looks like an injector replacement was the ticket there.

OK...sounds like either an electrical problem to the injectors or a clogging problem. Check the Automatic Shutdown Relay (on the left side of my '99) to see if it is working. I still think it's a fuel problem somewhere in the rails or injectors. My manual talks about a "noid" light available at auto parts stores to check the wiring to the injectors. If all the electrical checks out then I would number and pull the injectors and send them to a cleaning shop. You should probably get a manual and read the trouble shooting section on injectors. It's too long for me to type and I don't have a scanner, so no way to get it to you via forum.
OK here is the latest...
I put on a new fuel filter, I checked the injectors for volts-not sure of outcome because my volt meter did read but not sure what.
Im beginning to think its the fuel rail and/or the injectors?
I wonder how hard that would be to diy.?
oh yea - fuel pump OK
Starting to look like a tow bill to the shop
