Default ?on lowering and rear disc brake conversion

I've searched the forum but got back no useful info on the subjects or maybe I missed something. But there has got to be some corner carving caravan out there.

I've just bought a 1995 caravan because the family just expanded.
However, I still want to do some mods to my van(suspension mostly)
We have a 4dr Golf that we have tuned and would like to bring some of
that character to the van. Which is to lower and firm up the ride quite a bit
the drum brakes has gots to go so I'll be looking into a rear disc conversion also.
I know aftermarket support for these vans are next to nill. The CAI and exhaust
I can do myself. But the suspension and brakes I can really use some knowledge
on. any help will be much appreciated.

what I've learned so far is that the Daytona struts and springs is a simple
bolt in for a 3-3.5" drop up front but the rear would be a bit more complicated.
can anybody let me know if there is anyone or company that can help me with the suspension?
Also, does anyone know if the rear disc setup on the Daytona's will bolt up to the caravan?

i dunno about the discs, but...

daytona struts with stock caravan springs will bring you down about an inch to an inch & a half, if you get V6 full optioned heavy duty daytona springs to used with the daytona struts, it'll drop about 3inches

the rear, well, you can make dempsey spacers, but you'll lose most of the travel in the back, & it your hauling people & stuff that travel will disappear

if you have multileaf rear springs, you can pull out a leaf or 2, me i unfortunatly have mono leafs, so i have to get creative, once i start up my company in about 1/2 a year or so, i'll have lowering kits for the 2nd genners, that i'll pretest out, & try to make the best solution to lowering your 2nd gen

BTW have a look-see here http://www.allpar.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=81577

thanks for your help
yeah, I do have the multi leaf spring setup out back. maybe a couple removed combined with shackles would give what I'm looking for. As for the disc setup, I'll visit the local wrecker and see if the Daytona disc will bolt up
to the minivan.
