i'm new,[&:] I have a 96 g\c 3.3l 107000 miles autotrans that has a leak from the bellhousing about 1 qt per week, i have read some other post's where people have rebuilt or replaced their transmissions and then had more problems. I would like to just fix the leak (read that as cheap) any guidence or insite i am willing to drop the trans if that is what it takes.

Need to check it real close, could be the solenoid pack or cooler lines leaking and running down the bellhousing or it is the front pump(bad). If it is the front pump and the trans has more than 60K miles on it I would recommend having it rebuilt, otherwise they can just reseal the front pump.
