This is a pretty old post, but my truck just threw this exact code at me today...

What selenoid do you think this guy's talking about?

Anyone else have this problem before??

If you are getting the same code as 1/2 o2 sensor. That 1 would be the odd bank of the firing order and 2 would be the downsteam o2 sensor. Inspect the sensor and replace it if needed.

the O2 sensor is comparing the amount of Oxygen inside and outside the engine. If the outside of the sensor should become blocked, or coated with oil, sound insulation, undercoating, antifreeze, or mud.

wasnt your year or model Ram but I had a truck once that threw this code. Ended up being the vent hole was plugged with mud, truck was on alot of Worksites.

In that case it was a easy fix: little drillbit to clear the hole and spray off the underside of truck a little more. Now yours may not have a hole thats visible it may be shielded

Fingers crossed its something silly like this on yours

if sensor is working fine tho and has a higher than normal voltage will mean a rich condition, does your truck have soot around the tailpipes?, slight miss at speed?, need an Air filter maybe? who knows?

im with MT inspect/test sensor and go from there.
