Default Radio died after battery changed

2001 Caravan Sport

I know that it has happened to others but I have not seen a solution. I changed my battery this past weekend. When I turned on the ignition I noted that my radio died. No clock no light no radio.
The 2 equalizer amber lights flash indicating that there is power but I get zero.
Friends have suggested that there is a "reset" code, or that a seperate wire did not get connected to the battery terminal properly but I'm not convinced that this is my problem.
Can anyone help?

There is a theft deterent system in place. What type of radio. Do you have a model? Either you can do some research on the internetor I will look for you.

Thank you computerpulse. It is the radio that came with the vehicle. I bought it used. Did not get the manual but it is not really high tech. Theft deterent would be a real surprise.

Spoke to 2 dealers. Both said that there is no "lock" out thingy for the radio. No code and no connecting to their computer to fix this. They both suggested a blown fuse may be the culprit.
I will check the fuses (under the hood) again.

Fuses checked out ok. Battery was disconnected and connected again. Still dead.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

I know you checked out the fuse. Please swap fuses from another circuit and try that unless you looked at it real close or checked with a multimeter this is still the closest bet for the problem.

The fuses all check out ok. Two "experts" have both concluded that the radio got fried. From changing the battery??? Doesn't seem fair.
