2002 dodge grand caravan drivers side electric window stops halfway and won't operate by switch.--up or down. It stays that way for awhile then after awhile it starts working again.From what I read I think this is a common problem with this model. Any suggestions how one would checkor diagnois what the problem is would be greatly appreciated. Dodge dealer charges 105.00 per hour. Hiway robbery.

Mine just started doing the same thing, only on the pass side. The window will roll down just as normal but will only go up about a third of the way, if i waita while it will go up a few inches more. Sometimes it takes all day for the window to roll up. I'm convinced its the power window motor since that is about all it could be. I have had other vehicles do the same thing and replacing the motor cured the problem, if you are just somewhat handy with a wrench you can fix this with a little patience, good luck.
