Hi i only have one key to my Dodge grand caravan with powerdoors and hatch ,can i buy a new uncut key on ebay and drop it off at a looksmith to cut it ,can a then use the key without programing it or must a programit first?????

 

You will have to program it first. You have to have two pre-programmed keys to programthe new oneyourself. Since you only have one key, you'll have to take it to the dealership for them to do it.

 

Ok but can a buy a new key on ebay or must the dealer order it

 

The one on ebay should be fine so long as it's an authentic Dodge/Chrysler key with the proper door/liftgate buttons. I've heard stories about aftermarket key fobs not being programming compatable.
