The Notes on the Paper on the Front of the Car are just Weld Instructions. Manually Weld... No other info...

in the meantime my mustang will fill my need
Sort of my thoughts. I'm a mopar man from day one but I just haven't been all that excited about how this project is going. I hope the car turns out just the way everybody wants it but I went ahead and bought me a ride in the mean time. I've also owned a challenger and its not my favorite car but for the mopar crowd I hope its a great success!!!

FC7GTX,

I own a '73 Challenger and a 300C (same LX platform that new Challenger is built on), they are entirely different machines, amazed at the differences in feel, ride, view overall. So, perhaps it may change your mind. Good luck w/ the new ride as well.

I totally agree. I'm sure like most new rides of today the ride, feel and handling etc are much better as is performance. I guess its all in what you want to buy. I'm sure when the Challenger comes out I'll be there to check it out!!!

Thanks, its a 2007 Redfire 427R 5spd Roush Mustang. The Stage 3's had 415HP and are built with more ground effects, this one has a little different computer tuning and a more aggressive exhaust and puts out 427HP with the same Supercharger as the Stage 3. The 427R fender graphics give it away. Its a blast and is so much fun to cruise in. I know its not a mopar but this thing is fabulous...

Sorry guys for getting off topic! Back to the Challenger

Dodgebrothers,
If I am not mistaken, the Challenger will not be built on the existing LX Platform. It is to be made on the new LY Platform, which has a slightly Wider Stance and a shorter Wheel Base Length. I believe all of the Current LX Platforms will go to the Modular LY Platform to work with the new Brampton Assembly Plant to build all 4 LY Models. Magnum, 300, Charger and Challenger... It will be sweet! But it better be built right... Look at that Freakin' Mustang that guy bought off the Dealer Floor. At a 1,000+ pounds heavier, the Challenger better have 100+ HP than that to counter, otherwise, it's the Atom for me. $65,000 to $94,000 = Fastest Car on Earth... But you have to wear a Helmet to drive it... I would really prefer the Challenger, but it seriously needs to perform in the high 11 Second Braket to compete with the New Muscle Car War that has begun... High 13 Second's isn't bad for a wagon, so the Coupe better beat least 2seconds faster...

I am kinda dissapointed in these pics. The concept had no B piller and these pics show that the car has a pillar and the rear window will probably be stationary. I guess we will have to wait till feb 08 to see whether it will have it or not

I always figured they were going to throw a B pillar on there. I agree that it lowers the coolness factor a tad, but they probably don't want to deal with having to invent a whole new type of sealing structure between the back glass and door glass (I doubt if Dodge has any other cars that don't have a B pillar).

Still, the car will look great even with a B pillar. But let's hope that this change is the only major one from the concept.
