I'm glad to see cars like this and the mustang going back to thier roots. The styling is incredible. I am in love with the challenger! Since when was a Charger a four door?!

I am kinda dissapointed in these pics. The concept had no B piller and these pics show that the car has a pillar and the rear window will probably be stationary. I guess we will have to wait till feb 08 to see whether it will have it or not
I always figured they were going to throw a B pillar on there. I agree that it lowers the coolness factor a tad, but they probably don't want to deal with having to invent a whole new type of sealing structure between the back glass and door glass (I doubt if Dodge has any other cars that don't have a B pillar).

Still, the car will look great even with a B pillar. But let's hope that this change is the only major one from the concept.
I'm hoping it's just a test mule and the production eliminates the pillar.

As for the question about "inventing a new type of sealing"... Hartops have been around since the 50's and they're basically a convertible with a "hard" top. Mercedies and Chrysler both make convertibles so it doesn't matter if they make hardtops, just use the quarter window seals from a converible. Not hard, and by leaving the B pillar out, you make it a little easier to make it a convertible... I'd much rather have a Challenger convertible then a Sebring...

Wow,
Can't believe you guys would even mention a Ford here... What is wrong with you people? lol

Facts don't matter. This is Dodge Forum. That Mustang is crap... (although it be a really, really nice Ford) lol

Y'all should be ashamed at yourselves for buying a Ford, or a Chevy... Come on, where's you're loyalty? lol

The new Charger may be a four door.....but it is still a bad *** nice car!! And it works for us married with family types .

I LOVE the look of the new Challenger....but I know that I cant afford a Charger and a Challenger....so the four door wins in my household.

There is loyalty in my house
1. 2007 Dodge Charger RT
2. 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring
3. 1991 Plymouth Acclaim
4. 1991 Dodge Dakota 4x4 5.2L V8

True, although the charger is not as true to it's roots, it is still the sweetest family sports car I can think of. Where else can u haul 4 full size passengers and go 160+? stock!!
