snuck a peek at one on the road...
I was just driving along yesterday and looked in my rearview. I saw and quickly recognized the Challenger! It was Jet black and as gorgeous as I had ever imagined. The driver was playing with it and sadly got caught in the traffic.
I ran behind it for a bit in my truck, but due to a lack of intelligent drivers in this area, I couldn't really get around it. But when he switched lanes and hit the off-ramp.... well, that was a glorious sound!
I've decided that I want mine to be in black.... when I can afford one...

was it on I-75 by Chrysler HQ??? cause i had one out on the interstate that week a couple times doing some testing, and all of the challengers we get are black....and the ones i get are always SRT8's
It was on M59 between 18 Mile and 23 Mile.
I want your job... just so I could play with the newest toys and perfect them...
I also got to peek at a 2009 Ram when one stopped by my work because the driver needed nylon tubing for something back at the shop. He let me look around a bit and I liked it overall.... The radio controls remind me of the Nissan Titan, though.
What exactly do you do for Chrysler that you get to drive the new toys around?

Still want to have a job like yours....
For now, I have to settle for living in auto parts sales... I see a pretty good mix of shiny new cars and shiny classics at work. Just no Challengers, yet.

Hey JetNoise, do you mean M-53 (N-S), not M-59 (W-E)?? Just wondering, as I saw a black one on M-53 around 25 mile on Mon. or Tues. I'm not sure but I think the Challenger was smirking atmy pt. Looked good though...

/\ /\ Gotcha. I saw another today on South Bound Mound Road. I was sitting at 18 mile, when the light turned green, the car next to me chirped the tires, and it was a Challenger. Guy drove like a tool, tailgating everyone and weaving in and out of traffic.
He got nowhere, as I saw him turn at Chicago (13 mile). And yeah, still manufacturer's plates.
