Default What max size tires on original rims?

What is the maximum width that I can put on the (rear) rims of my 2009 SRT8?

There should be no problem running wider rims in the back, and original in the front, right?

Any recomendations of what tires gives the most bang for the buck?

I know a 265 fit's an 8" rim just fine. A 275 goes good too. Just depends on how much room you have before hitting the wheel wells. That is my only complaint about the Challenger, Charger, 300C is that they should have had a much wider wheel/tire combo. The Camaro and Mustang have plenty of room for large rubber under the rear. Even most BMW's have nice wide tires.
I would see if you could find a good local tire shop that would test fit some sizes to see how wide will clear the body.

The 8" wide 20" wheel will only fit a 255 wide tire.Which are in short supply everywhere I have searched.
