Default Feedback on what exhaust to go with??

I have a 2013 5.7 Hemi RT and want to improve the exhaust sound but DO NOT want to go overboard and not be able to hear my radio while driving long distance and getting pulled over by the police.

I was told by a muffler shop that If they just replace my two stock mufflers with Magnaflows this will give me the retro muscle car sound.

If you have done an upgrade please send me your feedback on what you would suggest..again, I drive this long distance so don't want to raddle my brain and not be able to hear radio.

Thanks so much all..

Roger (Decal Guy)

adding any form of aftermarket muffler will enhance the sound of your car. I dont remember what the stock exhausts contains, but as long as your retain the stock cats and whatever if any resonators came with the car you shouldnt have any problem w too much sound. I would stay away from the fiberlgass packed "glass-packs" they will get louder and raspier over time. the Mags are good because theyre a straight thru design but use a metal fiber packing that doesnt burn out. I hear they drone badly at highway speeds tho but have no experience to attest to that as being fact. Steer clear of any bullet muffler because they are loud too. Chambered mufflers are good for sound and sound alone but most are known for choking performance and drone at certain rpm's. I have long tubes, cat delete, resonator delete and spiral flow mufflers and get compliments everywhere i go. I recently swapped the moroso's out for powersticks and i absolutely hate the sound. Going back to the moroso spiral flows shortly and staying with them. Hope this sort of helped.

I have magnaflo's with a x-pipe and they are pretty quiet at idle and sound good at WOT but they are a little too "raspy" sounding to me under mild acceleration. As far as drone, I have not experienced any at highway speeds.
