Default PLEASE HELP. New 2014 R/T Challenger with Major issues.

Hi, I'm a returning Dodge owner and bought an R/T Challenger. A few hundred miles in, the transmission malfunctioned triggering the warning light. The dealer claimed it was fixed with a valve body replacement. After I got the car back, it wasn't right. I took it back in but nothing was "found." It lurches (they claim it's normal and supposed to drive like a stick shift) and feels jumpy esp. when it's cold outside, and the gas mileage is about 8 mpg.. Prior to transmission issue, gas mileage was close to stated. Also the engine now gives off a smell after driving it.. This is a car with less than 800 miles. The dealer is claiming there are no problems and it needs to be "broken" in and the same about the poor gas mileage. I wonder if the transmission malfunction did other damage that isn't showing on their "diagnostics" (they didn't provide any reports) Has anyone had a similar issue and did you get resolution? I am convinced this car is the lemon in the bushel.

Your under warranty. Try another dealer.

We worked with transmissions for some years. It really seems to be a check valve issue in the valve body. The 'lurching' is a giveaway for the ***** in the valve body not being positioned properly OR one is missing, "by accident". The valve body is a little complicated. Have a shop foreman re-check the valve body.
