Default P06dd Code

I have a 2013 Dodge Challenger with the 3.6 that I put synthetic oil in which it now has 28,000 miles. Last oil change was at 22,00. Since the initial oil change, I've been doing the synthetic every 6-7 thousand miles. The other day I got the P06dd error code and I checked the oil and the dip stick didn't have anything. I plan on having the vehicle towed to the dealer since I don't know how much oil the car has. I have no oil leaks or signs of oil lost. The dealer is telling me it's possible to lost 2 quarts of oil within 6 thousand miles which I think it BS. I've noticed some Dodge bulletins taking about oil lost over time.

Has anyone else had this issue with the Challenger and any suggestions on what test I should have the dealer do on the car to find the oil lost? I'm just wondering if they just didn't put the right amount in the last time.

First you said "I put synthetic in", then you say "they didn't put the right amount in". Who did the last oil change? You or "them" and who is "them"?

I have the Dealership us Synthetic oil each time. The same dealer has performed each oil change. This is the first time I've had the issue.

Hi Poulos01--I would definitely recommend following up with your dealership as well. Let me know if you'd like me to help out.

Thanks, I have it scheduled for later this week to be towed in to the Dealer that's performed all the maintenance on the vehicle, based on my initial conversion they are trying to say it's norm. but I'll find more out after they review it.

They replaced the Oil Pressure Switch, which they said was causing the P06dd error code.
However they danced around the loss of oil, first saying it's normal to lose that much oil between oil changes to saying my car was strange because it actually took 6 1/2 quarts of oil not 6.

My gut is they never filled the oil up the last time, which is probably why they said it took 6 1/2, and not 6 quarts of oil to give them an out. Now they want to do an oil consumption test every 1000 miles. I don't drive the car in the winter so it's going to be time to see what happens.
