Thumbs up Max wheel and tires for my 2009 challenger R/T Can anyone help me with wheels and ti

I have a 2009 challenger R/T with 8.5x20 all around. The 8.5's were an option on my car in that year. I would like to run a 9x20 on the front with a 275/40/20 and a 10x20 on the rear with a 315/35/20. Not sure if this is the widest I can go front and back. Has anyone tried these sizes? Some of the rims I am looking at only come in a 9.5 for the front and 10.5 for the back. I like the VF 479 by American Racing. A 2 piece polished. They will have to be made so I have to get it right the first time. When my rear tires needed replacing I installed used 275/50/20 just to get me by until I ordered all new ones. I know they were to tall but were cheap. Looked old school being so tall. They are just touching on one spot about 1/2"x1" in the back and very close to the outside lip. I had read some threads about guys running 10.5x 20 in the rear with 315's. Maybe my year car doesn't have as much room as the newer models. Anyway if anyone can shed some light on this for me I would very much appreciate it.

I know people have run 20x9's on the front of an R/T (spindles are different between R/T and SRT/Scat pak). You will need spacers. Go over to LX forum and do a search, it has been discussed to death over there.

Go to Tire Rack's web page and use their online configurator, it will tell you the largest size rim and tire you can run.
