Hellcat's Hell on Earth Recall

Hellcat or Hell on Earth ownership experience? This major recall might be the final nail in the coffin for a few owners of these high-performance Dodges.

Erm, a bit of information on what years this recall applies to would have been nice.........

 

What's the recall for, the leaking fuel system?

 

Oil line up behind the motor. It can 'break', spray oil on the windshield, (blinding the driver) and destroy the motor in pretty short order. Only applies to a limited number of 2017 model year cars.

 

If you click on the slideshow itself, the first slide states "The crux of the problem comes from an oil leak that is bad enough to issue a recall. Well, that’s what the marketing department is calling it. The actual issue is from an oil cooler line that may fail to do its job."

Good catch HeyYou: Dodge has recalled 1,207 2017 Charger and Challenger Hellcats.

 

You know I wish these car manufactures would build cars like they should be built..... Bulletproof!
