After installing new cylinder heads on a 5.7 Hemi, do I just make sure the push rods are installed in the correct intake/exhaust places and then torque down the rocker arms without having to rotate the assembly and measure for clearance with a feeler gauge? I did not replace the cam or lifters by the way......
I don't think lash is adjustable. That said, there is a procedure for torquing down the rockers in the service manual. (and likely out there on the web as well.)
From what I have found on the net all you do is make sure the pushrods are seated correctly in the lifters and then torque down the rockers in the proper sequence.
