Question Black spot on dash.....

Hello all.

I was wondering if anyone has had this same issue. There is a black spot on the RPM numbers in the dash. what is that? thx

Is it on the lens? Or the face of the gauge?? What year is your car?

Almost looks like something on the back side burned, and discolored the gauge face.... Don't know how difficult it is to pull the cluster, and lens....... not sure if it would just wipe off either.....

well actually it comes and goes. but this time its been there for a few days without going away?
