Default new scat or used hellcat?

A new scat pack widwbody is about same price as used hellcat. So, I'm in the market for one of them, I've done much research and technically the scat is the better overall car but id like to hear from yall that own either one. Scat pack owners do you wished you would of got a hellcat if you could, hellcat owners is the car really practical and usable on street? I'm coming from a 2012 ram 1500 stock hp, will 485hp be plenty? Car will be daily driven, hard daily driven. Any help/ suggestions will be appreciated.

I wouldn't say the Scat is the better overall car (it's slower lol) but it is better overall as a DD than a cat would be. 392 is an awesome street engine (I have one) but it doesn't have the brutal power the cat does. With the MDS it does make for one helluva daily though; if I keep my foot out of it, it gets almost as much mileage as my previous 5.7 R/T. If I don't keep my foot out of it, well.....it's a factory 12sec car lol. Someday I will have a cat for a fun car, but I'll always keep a 392 car for a daily.

The cat actually does Daily Driver duties pretty well. Friend of mine has one, (rather modified now.....) that he drives to work every day. 80 miles, one way. Not the best in winter, (which is why he also has a Hummer H3.....) but, if winter isn't an issue, its a great car.

If winter isn't an issue, or wet weather, or gas mileage LMAO

Gas is currently under 1.50 a gallon here.... of course, that won't last....... but, even so, he gets close to 20mpg combined. But, he also makes north of 30 bucks an hour (union tree trimmer), so, money isn't that much of an issue for him. Car does ok in the wet, just gotta have decent tires.

All of 'em. What's really funny is, the E85 is actually a nickle more than regular 87 octane.
