Hi everyone just wondering if you can run a pedal commander with the diablo trinity?

 

If it doesn’t say you can’t then yes.

 

Now there is a piece of tech I simply do not understand.

The pedal commander simply remaps TPS. It makes the PCM think you are stepping harder on the gas than you actually are. You could accomplish the exact same thing by...... stepping harder on the gas.......... but folks want to spend money instead?

 

I'm not sure that it's that simple. From what I recall seeing years ago when these things came out... Kinda summarizing here with arbitrary numbers. The stock pedal input has a graduated scale from 0 (no pedal) to 80 (full throttle) by increments of 4. These devices are more exact and have a finer scale from 0 to 100 by increments of 1. So with a much more exact/precise reading, you would be getting better pedal response and cleaner shift points and such.

As to the margin of increased performance and drive-ability... Maybe someone can chime in on that.

 

You can, but..........Diablo tuners have this setting called "throttle boost", which is exactly what a pedal commander is. Advances the TB for the illusion of quicker opening. What it will definitely do is burn more gas for you lol. But if you have the Diablo you don't need the PC.
