Unhappy Auto collision detector / sensor and possible body shop scam? Please help

Hey folks

I own a 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat for about 4 years now.
About half a year ago, an old Camry crashed into my car on a crossroad when I tried to make a left turn. The old Camry went over a red light, failed to stop, and crashed into the driver's side.
Soon after the accident, a number reached out to me and claims that he is customer support from Dodge or "Dodge Care". He said that one of the sensors inside my vehicle goes off after the collision - and he knows that the collision occurred on the driver's side. I have no experience with such a thing and haven't fully recovered from the shock, So I trusted him. He later took my location information and sent me a tow truck to get the damaged car to a "Dodge Specialist" for full inspection. Since the accident happened around my area, I know there is a dealer + body shop near me, but the tow truck drove in a different direction, and finally - The truck driver towed my car to a local body shop called "Legend Auto and Meter".

For almost half a year, this body shop had fed me with all sorts of excuses: covid, parts arrive late, insurance, sick workers, etc to delay the process. Until today, my car hasn't been repaired yet.

Apparently, this body shop is not a "Dodge Specialist" - I know a body shop just a few miles near me. But that day I was totally in shock - I couldn't process this much information and easily trust both sides, I started to feel something isn't quite right after Googled "Legend Auto and Meter" customer reviews.

I guess my question is:
Has anyone heard that there are sensors inside a Dodge Challenger that will auto-detect collision information and send it back to the headquarter - so someone will reach out to you immediately?
If there is such a thing - do you know who is responsible for this? Should it be Mopar, Dodge, or a third-party contractor?
Has anyone encountered parts and production delays from Dodge during this year?
And what should I do at this moment? I have been waiting for my car to go back for over 180 days. The insurance also refused to help me since this shop is not one of their selected body shops. I solely trusted that call - I didn't verify the source of information. What I can do to make this right?

Please help me - thank you.

Go to the Body shop. Visually inspect your car. If they haven't touched it, send a flatbed to haul it to someplace else. Bring the police if necessary.

"Legend Auto and Meter"

If this is a shop in LA like the one I found doing a search, you may want to do everything you can to get your car away from them. The reviews are NOT good on them. I wouldn't trust them with any vehicle based on those reviews.

"Dodge Care"

This is actually a real thing, but I don't know if they would contact you after a collision. Even if they do, I'm not sure if they would get you a tow truck and recommend a nearby shop. It's possible, considering your higher-end build.

"the tow truck drove in a different direction, and finally - The truck driver towed my car"

This sounds shady. I'd find out about this tow truck company/driver.
