Default Scat Pack Challenger brakes

Just want to see some feedback about brake life. I have a 2020 50th Anniversary Scat Pack Challenger with 34K miles. I had it to the dealer today to check it out because of a pulsating feeling when braking. I was told that the front rotors need to be replaced due to rotor parallelism. Has anyone else has this issue?

34K out of a set of front pads ain't bad. On a performance car, its darn good.

It used to be, shops would spin the rotors on a lathe, and machine them flat again, then reinstall with a fresh set of pads. Fewer and fewer places are doing that anymore, and a lot of the shops around me don't even have a brake lathe any more.... They just replace 'em with new as standard procedure. Keep in mind, you can get equal, or better.... quality rotors for a LOT less than what the dealer wants to charge for them.... Even your local brake shop would probably be half the price of the dealer for a brake job.....

That's insane. But then, the dealership thinks their parts are made of gold, and charge accordingly for them.

Get a quote from a couple of the independent shops in your area. I am certainly you can get them done for about a third of that price.

Which brakes do you have? The regular 4 piston Brembos or do you have the big brake package with the 6 pots?
