Assuming the shots we've seen in the threads are what DC ultimately produces, and it is priced under $30,000 (to compete w/ the Stang), would you buy the new Challenger?

Thought I'd ask before all the Autoshow hype hits

 

if its under 30k, no question...i will put every string that i can reach to get one...but i highly doubt that once the stealership gets ahold of it, that it is going to leve their property for under 40 grand...let alone 30 grand.

 

first off let me say i have absolutely no problems with this car or what it stands for and i respect DCX for listening to the whining old people and build this. with that being said, i would not buy one even if i had the money. as great as it will be, i will continue to be a charger person. i hope it comes out and makes everyone happy, first off to help DCX sales, and second of all to please all the original mopar fans.

OK, now why don't we move this to the Challenger section?

 

The performance is great, but I wouldn't purchase the Challenger. BMW's 3 series or the 06/07 Lotus Elise would suit me better.

how are you comparing a 3 series, a elise, and a challenger?!?!?

 

Give me good ole American muscle! Besides I wouldn't be able to shoehorn my a$$ into an Elise and I"m just not sophisticated enough for a Bimmer.

Can you at least take BMW to a 5 series not a lousy 3?

 

YES! Abso-frikken-lutely....I might buy 2 seriously One to drive, one to store or one hard top and one convertible

 

I would like to buy one but i live in Australia and they would never send them here, they wont even send the charger here we have just got the 300c and we dont even have the turbo vesion oft the PT. But it is looking up with dodge going world wide we are ment to get the caliber when it comes out.

 

well, if the 300C has gotten there, i would think that the charger and the other lx cars would make their way over.
