Default 2009 R/T Battery Drain

I have replaced battery & alternator and there is still a drain over night. The factory security self arms when the key fob is close, the rear view mirror auto dimmer light is on when the car is started (I never use this) and my sun roof looses connection with the pcm. I'm not sure what to do next. I've had the car for the last 3 years with no problems, it only has 50,000 miles...

Might be as simple as a light staying on somewhere... Under the hood, glove box, ash tray?

Then its time to get your meter out, and start looking for the draw. Set your meter on a low amp setting, put the leads between the positive battery cable, and battery post, see how much draw you have. Start pulling fuses till the draw drops.

Default Solution

The culprit was the driver side door latch! Phantom battery drain is no more!!!!!!!!!!

What's in the door latch that caused the drain??? (I liked it better when those were purely mechanical.....)
