Default Abs pump/module

What is it with Dodge and discontinuing the abs module for the 2012 challenger srt... can't find one they stop making them and my car now is just sitting cause I can't drive it with 98k miles on it... if i can ever get it fixed... don't think I'll ever buy another dodge... the engineers or CEO must have lost their minds... build cars with terrible parts... people buy them break down and you stop moving the parts... just stupidity on all high levels

It's a 13 year old car. How long do you expect them to maintain a parts inventory for it? especially costly electronic parts....

That said, they *should* still be available in the aftermarket, via rebuilders, or whathaveyou. (used part?) Or, simply disable the system, and drive without ABS, like folks did for the better part of a century before the tech made it to the automotive sector.

It's a 13 year old car but I also have a 50 year old car that I can get parts for... so what's your point... perks still get parts for 20 year old cars so what's your point... no i don't believe they should stop making parts that quickly... but thanks for your response...it's still don't change my opinion

Can you get high zoot electronic parts for your older vehicles? Oh, that's right, they don't have them..... Hhhmmm....... Try finding an OBDI pcm...... Heck, even some of the OBDII fellers make hen's teeth look downright common. The manufacturers are only required to support cars/trucks for ten years..... Then the aftermarket takes over. But, if a part is stupid expensive, difficult to manufacture/rebuild/fix, and you don't sell a lot of 'em, like, say, ABS pumps....... No one is really motivated to make them. If you can find the part number for what you need, do a google search on that. You *should* be able to find something, even if it's just a used one.
