2012 Challenger 392 Swap Issue
I recently swapped a 2012 SRT8 Chrysler motor into my 2012 SRT8 Challenger because the motor had blown, and I bought a Chrysler 300 that was wrecked from the rear and pulled the motor and trans out (yes, the motor was tested before pulling it out). I only put the motor and transmission into the Challenger, didn’t swap any computer or wiring harness (challenger computers and wiring harness is in the challenger with the chrysler motor and transmission), only the motor and transmission itself. But now, when I try to put the key into the run position, it doesn’t crank or start at all. on the cluster It isn’t detecting the transmission PNRD, so I’m pretty certain it’s the transmission not letting it turn on because it can’t see if it’s in park for it to turn on. The only thing is, I have no idea what’s happening with this transmission. Do I have to program the transmission TCM to the Challenger? Or is it something else? All grounds and cables are plugged in and bolted in; I checked maybe about four times on everything, and even the ground straps are all perfect. It’s just not detecting a transmission; that is the only issue. Please help ive been on this issue for about 2 weeks now, Thanks.
