RE: SRT8 vs. R/T badge for new Challenger
i think that they should do r/t for the 5.7 hemi and srt8 for the 6.1 hemi but if they wanted to make a more powerful one like the 6.4 yall are talkin about then they could make that become the srt8 and the 6.1 hemi would be replaced since it wouldnt make since to have 2 engines so close in size.

While i think the SRT Design Team deserves credit for the 6.1 engine, i think the SRT-8 Challenger should have a little more punch. I mean its going to stand out in every respect from the lineup of any car manufacturer...so they should make it stand out under the hood as well. SRT-8 = 6.4 @500Hp, R/T=6.1 @425hp, SXT?=5.7 w/MDS @ 350HP

You know Im sick of this SRT VS R/T!!!! Look the 6.1 hemi is a SRT8 engine just like the charger, Jeep, 300, and the magnum. R/T is no longer the high performance badge. People dodge would make a full of themsevles to change the badge only on the challenger. LETS GET REAL!!!

Actually I do. And my sister owns one. Was I dissappointed with aspects, yes. But I like seeing the Charger back on the road, especially in Hemi form. My point was more badging vs. design integrity (Charger has little resemblence to it's past where the Challnger is almost a duplicate).
Hey, the more mopars the better, whatever they call them...
