According to Joe Wiesenfelder's report on cars.com the new Challenger with a V-8 will be competitively with the GT Mustang. The Hemi will be around 4 thousand more and will compete with the SVT Mustang. I guess Ford got scared, being that they have cancelled all future SVT plans.

Seeing as how the concept is so close to the original I really think that the price will be likewise close to what you would have expected the original to sell for in relation to what it will be competeing against, Mustang, Camaro. They don't need another supercar they need a car that will sell in volume and that everyone interested in this maket will be able to afford.

 

Thats why I hope they offer a 5.7 version for us "lower income" middle class. If they put a 3.5 in the midline model I will puke!

SRT challanger models will run around 35k thats why every other car manufacture
is crapping there pants. question is AUTO or STICK!
