Challenger could be here very soon?
I know, I know... Dealers hardly are right when it comes to this stuff, but I figured I'd share it anyway...
Yesterday, as I was taking a look at the new Caliber and some SRT-8's... This salesman was going on and on about Tallahassee Dodge's new dealership... It really is huge, with a HUGE show room building... He said the big guys there knew Dieter Zetsche (bull?) and how the prototype Challenger will be there for the new building sometime later this year and that the Challenger will start selling sometime early to mid year 2007...
2008 Challenger due mid 2007?
I personally thought it was some bull, but I had to share...

If they unveil a true "production version" at the January '07 Detroit autoshow, then like the Shelby GT500, they could be available in May or so of '07...probably the quickest, possible scenario.
I could definatly see mid 07 release of the 08 model doable, that would actualy put it in the same timeframe the Magnum followed, the original Magnum concept was shown in I belive jan of 03 and the 05 model was officialy released and on the lots in june of 04 so about 18 months from concept to production.
This doesn't sound too far out of the realm of possibility for me either. Having a concept car at a large dealer opening would be smart, and having this car for sale by late 2007 would be even smarter. Strike while the iron is hot I say!
