RE: ENGINE SIZE
6.1 Hemi and 6 speed. If you're looking for gas mileage, not sure why you'd be looking at the 6.1 in any combo?? This is 425 honest HP, no way one is going to be able to keep their foot out it. I certainly have no intentions of babying it, especially at the rumored price.
The word is that 6.1 & 6 speed will be initial run, then other variants possibly.

6.6 6 speed, which prob wont happen. So 6.1 viper 6 speed. If you want good gas mileage buy a honda.

Pretty sure it would, there has been a lot of talk about it. The new viper is going to have thehemi, correct me if im wrong but i think its the392 hemi, and pretty sure the trans should be close.

RE: ENGINE SIZE
all the info ive read on the new viper says its an 8.4 V10 with like 650 hp. i dont think they would ever do away with a V10 in the viper since thats kind of the vipers trademark. plus doesnt the 392 hemi only make like 505 hp or something? and the current viper makes 550 if im not mistaken, so i dont see them going down in power. there was a thread on it in the brand news and concept rumors forum a few weeks ago.
