Default Fuel milage

How are you all doing for fuel milage? I have an 06 RT and am getting about 175 miles to a tank. My 02 crown vic get about the same milage, I expexted the dodge to be better.
I do have to admit it is all city driving, but I am curious what others are getting.

Holy *&^% you must hold it to the floor everywhere you go ? We have a 06 Daytona 300 to 350 sometimes but no less than 285.
My women drives it like she stole it to .

Remember the gas pedal is an analog device it can be used in intermediate positions. It is not necessary to depress it to the floor to accelerate.... but it is more fun that way!

Yep, I get waaay better mileage also.

Are you holding it in first gear all the time! J/K. Really, though, you should be getting much better than that! On the freeway, I get anywhere between 25-28; in town driving, unless I'm really playing hard, I get 20-21.

I've gotten it close to 300 per tank but it's not often I let it run down that close to empty.

Hey -- What were your 1/4 mile times? You live at the track right?

Just kidding -- Yea, that's bad. Like 9 mpg. I hate to say this but do you have a leak?

You must be the cause of global warming!

Good Luck!

I hate to state the obvious... How many gallons do you put in? Perhaps your gas gauge is wrong.... I usually put in around 16 gallons when I am near "E", sometimes as many as 18.

Hmmm. Good point, IXLR8. Hadn't thought about that. He needs to actually figure out his gas mileage. Guess I could only get about 50 miles per tank, if I filled up every day
