Default De-tuned my R/T - results....

I de-tuned it with the Flashpaq so I could use 87 octane. Boy! Say what you will, but it simply is not nearly as strong as it was tuned for 91 octane. I know there are those who doubt the SC's ability to really add power, but man, I'm thinking of tuning it back up to 91 octane cause it's so much more powerful! Gas mileage actually seems to be down a bit, too. It is a really noticeable difference. Just thought I'd pass this little tid bit of info along.

I'll never tell. But, I have decided to tune 'er back up. I guess it's not that much more for 91. After the SC, I just can't go back Feels like it lost 50 hp! Really, though. It just doesn't have the hit it had before. So, back she goes. This morning!

Dave,
Are you still running the SC and Jet 2 chip set up? Is the change from all that to the stock tuning, or from JUST the SC tuning to stock??

Does SC have an E85 setting?

I'm not running the Jet 2 anymore. Haven't been for a while. I just retuned for 87 octane, sport tranny mode, raised shift points, etc. Really only changed the octane level. I retuned to 91 octane this morning. Had fun coming to work this morning, and still seemed to get better mileage than with it set to 87 octain. I never dreamed there would be so much difference between the two settings. I didn't see a setting for E85.

So you are pleased with the SC? Was it better with the Jet 2 also installed, or, is it just as hot with only the SC?

I couldn't really tell any difference when I took out the Jet 2. It still seemed to run just as good with just the SC. So, I've got the Jet 2 stashed away - just in case anyone is interested .

Hi, Eugene here.

I have been reading the threads for awhile. I own a 06 Dodge Caherger R/T. I recently purchased the
Airhammer. I must say its ablast. I set my car to 91 on superchips, paddle hold and raised the shift points with no problem. With the Airhammer getting 21 avg. fuel mileage.
