Welcome to the Forum. If overheating will be the issue, bigger radiator. electric fans that should help.

What jimmydaleo said x2... fan mod works wonders.

Heat will be the least of your issues, HAL will be the worst

Welcome to the forum. You probably should be in the SRT8 area and might want to post where the Big boys are, but we are a good bunch here too, and say what's on our minds. So with that, here after many, many hours and months of reading and trying to decide what to do in my case, here: never mind the supercharger. Case in point: for $5,600 I can buy a supercharger for my baby Hemi (5.7). It gives me 123 RWHP more, but, it also pushes 6 PSI constantly into the engine. Now, for a mere $1,000 complete, you can put a great NOS, like Zex, on your motor and get almost the same HP and use it ONLY when you want to. For me, I can drive around getting better milage with my MDS, but have an extra 100 HP (or more) when I want it. Put $4,600 in your pocket for rear tires...

If you don't like the thought of N2O, don't hang around any "ricer" kids... they'll blow your doors off with a 4 cylinder pumped full of it and get 35 MPG to boot...

Just a thought.

I would go with MNboy sayed. I would just add exhasut, intake, headers, a 50shot of nitrous which is nothing for the 6.1L to handle and that will make the mustang boys frown.
