I put mine in autostick (pulled to the left) and just let it shift itself, never got out of second gear.A guy had a Maggie running faster then the daytona. Those things got different gears in them?
Nope they sould be the same. Maybe the Magie was moded???
<edit> just like the 300 the Magie is just another LX and under the body their identical. The Magie is heavest of all the LXs.

Well, I went to the track last night for the first time and I think I ran ok. The weather was a hot and humid 95 so my performance was definitely down. My best 1/4mile was 15.131.....1/8 milewas 9.768.....and top speed was 91.91 mph. That's with Mopar CAI and Flowmaster catback only. My buddy with the '06 Mustang convertible wussed out on me but the last time he ran his fastest 1/4 was 13.7.......I did find that it ran best in automatic and I couldn't tell a difference withthe traction control on or off. I think I need the Superchips!!!
Stud,
Went to the track last week and was a bit disappointed. But 1 loss and 1 win:
I beat a 1990s hopped up Camaro Z28 that sounded really mean -- loud and proud and roaring at the light. He ran a 15.4 (9.99 1/8) at 91.2, while I got 'em with a 14.8 (9.6 1/8) at 94.9. My second round I just lost to a 300C on slicks by .47 of a second: he ran a 14.4 (9.3 1/8) at 95.99 while I saw him the whole way at 14.7 (9.5 1/8) at 96.7. My 60' were 2.3 both times -- if I could get that down, I think it'd be pretty good for the big butt Charger. No spare and little fuel, but else stock weight.
I have a K&N intake andthe 91SC programming and stock else.It felt the whole time I need slicks to be faster -- not much traction (none)in 1st, or even 2ndwith the back end feeling loose, but a strong high-end second and good punch into astrong pulling 3rd.
Good fun.

I went to the track last Wednesday and didn't do as well as I hoped, but it was consistent. Here in Colorado the track elevation is around 6300ft. Car is stock except fora Mopar CAI. I made 6 runs. My best was 16.18 and worst 16.42 (with 2 people in the car on this pass). Top speed around 87mph. Temp was about 78 degrees.
I only plan on adding an exhaust and getting the Diablo tuner. We'll see how it does then. But I'm not expecting much faster. I guess I will just have to build a 400hp motor from my Trans Am.
