Default Break Dusting problems

I just bought a used SRT-8 charger with only 5k miles on it... My question is that it seems to have an unnatural ammount of brake dust on the front rims specifically but on the rear too ... Any advise or questions ... It seems that after I wash the are ... drive 50 miles and need to wash the wheels again ... Anyone else have this problem??/

Thanks...

my guess is poor quality brake pads... to keep the price down they use low grade pads, try getting a new set with low dust, Titanium pads are nice (my mom had them on now and they are real nice)

Yes the brake dust is an issue w/stock pads. Kalvera is right if you wish to avoid that issue upgrade. I'm waiting for mine to wear down and plan to replace them w/ceramic pads.

Dodge is known for this problem on all their vehicles. You should see my Ram and Caravan (the caravan is the worst). My Daytona Charger isn't as bad but the dust does accumulate. Until the pads are worn and ready for replacement you'll have this issue. Go with ceramic or similar, high quality pads when you're ready for a new set.
