Default DRIVE SHAFT BOLTS SHEARED????

i bought a used 07 R/T. A month later i took it to dealer cuz it was shaking uncontrollably......and i was told my drive shaft bolts were sheared and since they are case hardened, this could only have been from "flooring" it in neutral and then throwing it into Drive so they would not cover under warranty!!! i had to pay out of pocket! is this right??????? they saiid they would not cover it cuz its abuse but i have never done that!!! help someone!

A few questions:

What dammage was done and what did they recommend be done to correct it?

I dont think that did it ,I reved the motor a people and put it back into gear the tranny doesnt engage until its in low rpm range. So I think neutral bombs are out of the question !

Good catch Baldy, one of them safety things to protect the power train. Bombs away, it's like a hot potato andthe dealership has a hold of it now.
