I wanted to see if anyone here knew if the Diablo chip coming out will be worth it or if i should just buy the Flashpaq? I am on the market to purchase in the next few days and i would hate to get the flashpaq then kick myself in the *** after the buy.

From everything that Predator is touted to do yes it's worth it. If you get into a group buy it'saround $350.

I'm looking forward to these optons alone:
- Fule mapping
- Rear O2 sensor delete
- Custom performancetunes CRMs froma Diablodealer

Yes, but their taking it further and will provide things that SuperChips has promised but never delivered. At least that's the pre-release story... I hear it's being released on the 17 so everyone is looking forward to seeing it in action.

I just bought my flashpaq a couple days ago because I was getting tired of waiting on Diablosport.

Now I'm not certain it was a good idea. I mean the flashpaq does what I need, but it just seems that the Diablosport will do more. I'm not really sure that I need a custom program (by the way, will that cost money to get the custom program from a dealer???) and I don't know why I would need to delete the rear O2 sensor.

Superchips seems to have a good customer support/calibration team which I like. Apparently alot of people with Chargers noticed a surging whenusing the 91 octane programso the DCT fixed the program files for everyone that had the problem.

The only thing that bugs me is that SC did say they would offer custom tuning, but haven't yet... That's just bad business.

The 02 sensor is on my list due to the long tube headers and associated check engine lights I get because of those.

You right custom tuning isn't for everyone but if you ever want to mod and really tweak your engine your going to need this or a one time (or more) custom shot from B&G.

Dealers probably will never have a "custom tune", not one that will be offered to the public. You might get one from a working relationship with a dealer and their techs but it will not be DCX blessed.

Sure SuperChips addressed the surging issue. If they hadn't then their customer base for the LX platform would loose faith and wouldn't promote their product any more and it would die slowly.

I'm hoping SuperChips will step up to promises they made early on for custom tuning and add features that match the Predator. This would also push the Predator to take their product features further and would become a leap frog contest in which we win.

Win-Win... I like it.

Seriously these things have such potential that I feel hasn't been reached. Like why can you only monitor 4 variables with the advanced data logging? (I haven't really found a reason why I actually NEED to monitor more, but I think I'd like the option!) Also, I'd like to mark some engine parameters for logging that doesn't start until I switch over to the "log by speed" menu and do a 0-60 test!

But as far as doing what it's made for, increasing HP and fuel efficiency, I feel like a winner already. I've done an extensive logging of fuel effeciency on my stock 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona and will be posting those results with the results after tuning it to the 91 octane perf.
