Hey ManGo does the DIABLO take care of the drive by wire? Is the throttle really responsive like the superchips was with the first tune?

Yes, the throttle response has been good and with each update has been getting even better.

FYI... the canned tunes are really for lightly modded setups and not for cams/heads. I'm running a canned tune fine but haven't gone WOT yet, I'm saving to get a custom Predator tune from B&G.

How much are those and how big of a difference do they make? Also, if it is a big deal how does one get one???

Try Googling "Predator". You'll probably get several "hits". Then, just start checking them all out for the best price.

I started a thread on here about buying them, should be down the "line" a little ways.

How are the transmission settings working out?

I was on the DS forum and kinda got the impression that there were some issues with the autostick modes. Granted some of these issues might be due to "operator error". Since 35 years of driving sticks is a hard habit to break, I rarely use D so this feature's performance is important in my case. My Superchips in hold gear mode performs the way I like it.

I definitely like the added selections of the Predator for tuning. Their present hardware doesn't support all the standalone data logging features that SC does so I'll probably keep my red box around if/when I go with the Predator.

Thanks,

I haven't had autostick issues like others but I don'tpush it in autostick.

Your right, the "standalone data logger" capabilities is limited but if you hook up to a laptop while driving the data you get from it is very detailed.

Thanks for the reply. Your feedback has been a big help in choosing mods for my Charger.

I went back and reread the threads and it seems the problems are with the later TCM's (07+).

As far as the data logger issue, I guess I will have to get a new computer -- Hello, Santa?
