HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
I just wanted to wish everyone here a very happy Thanksgiving. As for me, yeah, things could be better, but they could also be a whole lot worse.
I hope everyone has lots of family and friends around to help you celebrate. And, of course, lots of good food

Now I know where Dave got all of that smoke! If you look very closely you will see a few errant Turkey feathers mixed in with the smoke.
We know your secret now !!

Just in case no one figured it out I was referring to smoked Turkey... I did not imply that the driver was a Turkey but you are allowed todraw your own conclusions...
< sorry the best I could do, have a Happy Turkey Day>
<Sorry Dave, I just could not resist, it really is nothing personal>

- That was a good one!!!! I even laughed. If nothing else, I can laugh at myself!!!!Actually, my oven let me down this year. By the time the turkey was done (not me, although I feel "done" sometimes), it was so dried out that, well, I ate, then had to throw the rest out. Time to look for a new stove!
I do appreciate the comments on my burn out - Hmmm. maybe for next year's turkey ----

Get yourself an oven thermometer. Usually in the cooking or housewares section of the stores. Tells you whether your oven is running cold or hot. Set your oven using the thermometer and it makes a big difference. Warm the oven up until the thermometer reads the proper temp before you put the food in. Some ovens you can "tune in" with a screw behind the oven temp **** once you know how far off they are.
Might save you some $$$. Of course now if your other half wants a new oven, . . . (been there, done that)

I think I may need a new clothes dryer. Right around Thanksgiving it started shrinking all of my pants.....
