Anybody have any idea when the Charger/300C will get a major redesign? 2010 maybe?

Default RE: Charger Redesign?

What is the likely hood that they will still have the SRT8 in 2010? I am doing personal battle with myself in regards if I am going to keep my 2007 Charger RT or trade up in the fall of 2010 to a SRT8. I know that trading up will lock me in for probably 72 months of hefty car payments (less than waht I am paying now leasing.....my credit was sketcky when I got my Charger). I am interested in the horsepower, 20" rims, the agressive appearance of the SRT8 and other factors. As was stated in another thread, it provides a much better basele to start with in creating an asphalt monster which is my long term goal. So....this brings me to the following issues:

1. I have not been driving my current Charger during the snow season here to keep the road salt off. But if I know I am goting to trade up in 2020 (not sure yet) then not driving it in the winter is a waste for me. (taking miles out of the equation)

2. Will the SRT8 be around as a new model in 2010? I wonder what colors will be available.....I really like the steel blue metallic and of course the 2008 SuperBee (I know that wont be around then).

3. I am tempted to take my R/T out of the winter exile but wont do so until I can get some solid plans about the 2010 models. If I do get an SRT8.....then that will be the car I keep until I am cold and dead . Of course it wont be my daily driver year round.....I have a truck for that

I've seen this on other forums as well.

Some say it looks like a 4 door vett and I must agree LOL anyhew the overwhelming consensus is that this a poorly thought out concept drawing and hopefully it stays just that, a concept.

Rumor is that the new CEO said it lacked style and he sent them back to make some changes. The cars will get an all new high class interior. Rumor also is that it will get an optional turbo V6.
