hey to all & hope everyones holiday was good & safe !

got a ? about these struts and have read the posts about them.

just orderd them yesterday from my local dodge dealer and got them today. my issue is that the numbers i gave the parts guy (the ones exactly from the previous thread ) but dont match what i got

the struts say " STABILUS
44831-A
*** blah blah blah warning***

1404YT 0355N 311/07 B 21
04589606AA "

My ? is - are these the right struts? they look exactly like the ones on the trunk - no red and green labels like i read and NO other hardware in the kits!

trying to install on my 07 R/T cause like alot of yous i HATE that single import P.O.S. hood prop

ANY help would be greatly appreciated

Not sure about that 733subvet.

MoparSuperCenter shows these part numbers

Kit contains the following items:
1- PT# 5065278AD Cylinder
1- PT# 5065279AD Cylinder
2- PT# 6507889AA Ball Stud
Geniune OEM MOPAR replacement parts.

Here is a direct link to the parts.

well again - you guys hooked me up = THANK YOU !

ordered mine the other day from moparsupercenter - cant wait to get the right ones and get them in.

what has everyone else done with the hood prop - did most of you guys (and gals) leave it on or take it off ? if you did remove it completely, how did you do it. just looked at mine and can see the pop rivet that holds it down but without drilling it out is there an easier and safer way to remove it?
