srt rear installed on my rt
hi guys its been a little bit but ive been busy.for everyones info the swap works perfectly .the diablo works as advertised with the tcm . the car is faster a peepy on launch.
topbananna, can you be little more descriptive? It sounds like you installed the predator and a new set of rear end gears. If so, what was the ratio change from and to? Have you made any other measurements, 0-60, or 1/4 mile?

hi guys sorry for the delayed response.well its complex but simple at the same time . to answer some of the questions first no i didnt changejust the ring and pinion the whole rear half shafts drive shafts and the whole center pumpkin. ohyeah the diablo to readjust the tcm for the new gear ratio. youll need the items above it can get pricey 1 grand at the minimum andmaybe as high as 2 grand at the most. i had to replace the center pumpkin with the srt gears in there .the srt gears will not fit in the rt pumpkin . then youll need the half shafts because the rt half shafts will not fit in the rt pumpkin plus there stronger then the r/t half shafts.then youll need the drive shaft and also you need the yoke changed on the tranny side of the drive train because the srt drive shaft is a 4 flange yoke as well as the pumpkin side is also a 4 flange yoke.sometimes they come with out the yoke so make sure it does or youll have to buy one.then after everything is installed .plug in the diablo at least version 19 with the srt gear ratio selector .select 3.06 and your done car will go into limp mode .also make sure the half shafts you get have the toner rings installed .most dont ,no big deal though since you can use teh toner rings on the 5.7 half shafts they are tricky to remove so be carful.havent been able to lay down some numbers since im in the northeast and no track trips
