Dodge Charger The Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.

Default Any suggestions/recommendations?

Okay, here's a showdown. Would you choose the ford mustang, the dodge
charger, or the pontiac g8 if you could have any of them? Obviously,
these aren't for anyone who can't drive and doesn't enjoy some power.
I'm just asking for those of you who appreciate this choice. :-)
Myself, I'm Pontiac G8 all the way.. http://vlane.com/comparison/2123

Depends on what you're really wanting in a car. Do you have a family? Take long trips, etc. If you're talking Mustang, maybe you should consider the new Challenger, too. There's just too many variables. Do you prefer the retro look, i.e., Mustang and Challenger?

Obviously almost everyone here has already made their choice, I shopped all three (GTO at the time) and bought what most addressed my needs and stillappealed tomy senses. I still have a kid and occasionally shuttle adults around which threw Mustang and GTO out of the running. The G8 isn't any better in that catagory. The only real choice I had left was if I could justify the $6,000 higher sticker for the srt8 and the $2100 gas guzzler tax for 75 more horse.....I couldn't. If the dealer had a lightly used SRT8 it might've been another story.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that if youboughtthe Charger you already could've had either of the other two so why even ask???-Rob

If you are going to keep it stock, the G8 and Chargers are good choices, I prefer the charger for looks, size and confort over the G8, but if you will do any mods, other than bolt-ons, go with the Mustang, you will save lots of money and headaches.
