I have an odd problem. When whenever my 2007 Charger R/T is locked and it rains for several hours I the horn beeps twice every twenty minutes or so.

It should be noted that I have a sunroof that, though it shows no sign of leaking through the headliner, I am sure is allowing moisture into the headliner. It should also be noted that my remote start receiver is attached to the front windshield and looks as if it connects in the overhead console.

I simply want to remove the overhead console to look and see what electronics and electrical connections are made in there and if any of them show sign of water or corrosion.

I have purchased the Chilton's manual and it does not show anything about how to safely gain entry into this area without breaking clips and the like. Any help anyone can be would be appreciated.

The upper console can be removed just by grabbing and pulling down hard.
