Default '06 Dodge Charger RT - Starting/Running

Here lately in the mornings my Charger is very sluggish when I first start it. I sit in it and let it warm up about 5 minutes (usually), but backing out of the driveway is super slow. After I drive it for about 2 miles or so, everything is fine. But that first little bit, I really have to gas it to get it going. I don't remember it doing this before, but we are having a colder winter than the last few years.

So, my question is, is this something to be worried about or is the cold weather just making my baby take a little longer to warm up????

Thanks!!!

(PS - I love my Charger! It is super fun to drive and I get lots of compliments too!)

I haven't seen you on the forum before citygirlalways, welcome!

I haven't heard of that but can do some checking around. I'll chime back in, hopefully some others will post up also.

Can you tell if it's the tranny, maybe slipping or holding a gear too long.

It does kinda feel like the transmission is slipping, but it only does it right after you start it and only for a mile or two. It has about 36,000 miles onit if that helps.
