Default Is it possible to add ABS

Just wondering i know just about anyting is possible but really how possible is it
my new base model did not come with ABS and i was thinking of adding it
is it possible has anyone ever doen this ?

Wow, didn't know you could buy a car now adays w/o ABS. That's a blast from the past.

i had no idea iethere untill i just took another look i have not yet sighned the paper work for the car my co sighner lives in NYC so they are waiting for her to mail the paper work back wich i think she did today and they will have it monday i still have to sighn my part of the paper work also
so i am taking a deep think here about it
its really the only car they had on the lot that they could get me that i was happy with evyerhign els they wanted was over prices
this was a base model that was owned by a rental car company also and it was then bought back by chrysler and certified if that really even means anyting

wondering if it can be retro fited
or if i can take the parts of a 2009 charger in a bone yard and put that cars ABS stuff on mine if so what woudl it take and what would i need

Jezz, not for sure on this. You have to re-run the lines through the ABS manifold and I'm sure it's controled by something which is most likely the PCM. So the PCM would have to be replaced then you got wiring to worry about.

If it were me I would say that's strike 3 and move along until the right car came along.

I may be moving down south in the next year or 2 and i plan on having this for atleast 4 or 5 years
so i was just curiouse i know i think someone said that the ABS runs on its own stuff but not sure
would i ahve to get a new computer or could it just be reprogramed
?

iv been looking around and wondering how come even a rental car compan would be buying these without getting the ABS
there has to be some reason why
dodge didn't put ABS standard
you got be kidding me if they did it to save money
